I just wrapped up my first weekend back in over 6 weeks (in SF). I should have these types of weekends ALL THE TIME. I saw most of my dear friends (though there’s a few of you who have escaped me this weekend). And I spent some fabulous time with a new friend of mine and I’m slowly coming to grips with the fact that cats like me (sigh). It’s just past midnight and Stella refuses to leave my side while I blog away and watch Sportscenter.

Things at home are a little better and I feel MUCH BETTER about being only a few hours away from any potential emergencies. I’d elaborate, but it’s personal and would prefer not to shed light on a stressful health related situation within my family.

So now it’s Monday morning and I’m trying to figure out whether I should go back to work early and just save some vacation time or do absolutely nothing now. I am still planning to go back to Argentina, decisions, decisions.

At least I don’t have to go to work in 8 hours
