Dear Santa,
Thank you for the cash, as well all know, the older I get, the more it’s just about the cash…or presents with gift receipts. Though Santa, I know its kind of a bush league move to do so, but I have to bitch a little about what wasn’t under my tree. I was really hoping to get some xanax or valium or a roofie that I could take on the plane with me. As you (and God and Jesus) know, I get really fidgety when I’m on long ass flights.
I’m planning to make “world traveling” a permanent tradition, so please save this blog post for future reference.

In Cuzco, Lima, Quito, South America, sabbatical, travel on December 15, 2008 at 7:30 am
It’s nearly 12:30 in the morning and I’ve been on this laptop for about 5 hours attempting to create an agenda for my trip. As my title implies, I don’t necessarily think I’m indecisive, I just like to analyze things to get the biggest bang for my time. I keep re-thinking my plan to start in Santiago, because ideally I would want to load up on wine from Argentina AND Chile and then take it back to the States. I doubt I could lug around a case of wine to Cuzco, Quito and then Lima.
So what does this mean? Pretty much I have an airline charge in my future, rats. And Machu Picchu, and the Inca trail…god, do I really want to walk that much?? I have the worst back this side of Greg Oden.
I am seeing the Doctor today (Monday), everyone please send me karma that he sends me home with soma and xanax. Though with my luck, I’ll come home with an overpriced prescription for 800mg ibuprofen.
