Teixeira agrees to $180M Yankees deal

In New York City, WTF?, image this, red sox on December 24, 2008 at 6:48 am

I’m a man of little words tonight, because I’m still trying to pack for my trip, as well as decide on the *final* Christmas gift. I’m not saying who’s getting the final gift, because basically it means they were forgotten, somewhat. Oh well, they’ll never know ;-)

So back to the title of this post, WTF is up with the Teixeira signing? It just makes me sick to my stomach that the Evil Empire decides to ruin the sanctity of the game AGAIN by overpaying for another player. Mark is an excellent first basement, no doubt, but honestly, $180 million?

I don’t think it matters, the Sox are still going to win the AL East and the Yankees once again will prove that money only buys happiness, not Championships.

Oh, my Chumby says it’s 7 degrees tonight:

In the 12th inning

I’m on edge right now, the Sox & Angels are tied in the top of the 12th inning as the east coast welcomes in Monday. I’m guessing Alison (my friend) is also up, but sucks for her since she works/lives in the east coast. Shit, they just scored, 5-4 Angels :(

time for the rally cap

They LOST, Game 4 here we come
